Yep, it's still in the plans, i "just" have to build it, but with my dad passing away and me having to take care of his house, finishing the works in mine, spring work to be done, i just am getting delayed and things are taking more time than planned.
Fingers crossed i can get it done this summer at some point.

Here is the plan, paint the wall grey to have the best possible contrast and colour rendition, attach 3 horizontal copper pipes on the wall with brass hardware. Each pipe will be 3.5m long spaced a meter appart.
Basically i will be able to have 12 jackets on the wall, 3 rows of 4.

Thanks Will, that really looks great!
Most people say deer doesn't get creases in the elbows but yours is showing some really nice ones.

Is that a separate room just for the jackets?

No, that's on one of the walls in my office.
There is already sort of a jacket room though, but basically these new wall rails will hold the equivalent of one of my three rails:

It's about saving space and having more opportunity to see jackets.
There are some i rarely wear but love looking at, i might as well have them on my wall.

Got it now, I thought you're making some sort of room only for jackets and as soon as I saw that wall I had the idea of decorating it :D

@Carlos840 I threw the jacket on the balcony and took two pics. Straight from the phone no filters nor anything.

The pockets and shoulders/collar area are the ones that darken the most with use.

You can see how the sun is shining bright:

I got it a bit lighter in colour but not that much. The problem is that I've worn it for almost all the time since I got it in December but the winter sun isn't as strong as in Spring and in Spring I can't wear a leather jacket because it's too warm.

I'll take pics later of the Darius, the colour is different.

Did you ever oil or condition either of yours?

nice, is it a drywall or brick wall? if brick wall I think you need more spacer from the wall.
my condolence for the passing of your father

it's a brick wall that has been plastered on top, so it is smooth, no risk of scratching the back of jackets.
Thank you.

@Carlos840 As promised, here's an update of my Sunset - light conditions are not perfect today but at least you can see the aging of the leather:

Thanks Robbie, it really looks amazing.
Did you buy it new? If yes was it much lighter?
Did you ever apply any sort of oil/conditionner to it?
How is it in the rain? Does it soak water in straight away?

Oh I mean brick wall painted or plastered is sometime feel cold and moist and might start molding on leather at least in my climate here.

Thanks. It was second hand but the colour was lighter when I received it as I wore it about 10 times but never in the rain as I wear only LW, Aero, etc. stuff when it's raining (I know I'm really picky). I assume that it will soak water more easily due to its soft nature - not sure about water stains, etc. No, I've never applied any sort of oil/conditioner to it. As you can imagine it's less resistant to scratches and abrasion/wear due to its softness but as you can see despite the aging process it's still almost flawless.

@Robbie79 @dudewuttheheck @willyto

How do you guys feel about getting this leather wet?

Basically i got the jacket, the first time i put it on i managed to make two water stains on it within seconds. (Beard was still wet from the shower...)
That made me go "screw it" and i decided to treat this jacket as if it was a regular leather jacket.
It has been raining all week, and i have been wearing it in the rain all week.
The first few outings i came back looking spotted like a leopard and as the water dried it was leaving huge water stains, after a week the jacket has gained great grain, the colour has much more depth and is much darker from the water only, and elbow creases are looking sweet.
The leather is a lot less even looking, there are light and dark areas, few stains, it really improved a lot from out of the box.

This made me wonder if you guys wore your jackets in the rain? Or are they reserved for sunny weather?

It's been too dark and rainy for me to take good pics, when we next get sun i'll take a few.
Unfortunately i don't have pics of it brand new out of the box to compare.
I literally made two giant stains on it 15 seconds after taking it out of the box and couldn't bring myself to photographing it in that condition. Stains have now completely blended in...
