Wait, what? I like this a lot. Please do tell more details. Thanks
Semi-vintage Polo Ralph Lauren:) Great leather and great pattern

Man, that is perfect. The color, the fit, the style. It’s so good that I’d get a weird itch to lock it in a safe instead of wearing it.
Thanks a lot, man. This style was missing from my stable and had all the quirky details I like like military style epaulets, wriststraps, two functioning handwarmer pockets and that quirky coin pocket.

Nice! Who's the maker of this one? I don't recognize that unusual lower pocket layout on your left side.
Thanks a lot. As mentioned it's an old Polo Ralph Lauren.

Sorry for spamming with so many pics but I'm just super happy with this jacket!!! It's the kind of trucker I was after from the beginning; Blanket lined leather Type-3 by Levi's. But I honestly thought it didn't exist but once again, Vinted (and Levi's) proved me wrong and provided. All thanks to @Marc mndt , yet again!

So yeah. While it's clearly not perfect when it comes to fit, since being made to be a proper choir piece, this jacket is very boxy and intended for heavy layering but it's exactly the kind of look, fit, vibe I was going after this whole time! Sadly, I'll have to wait for freaking MONTHS to wear it so these are all staged of course and back to t-shirts but it's good to have something extra to look forward to.

Leather is very soft suede-ish cowhide & it's lined with heavy blanked that's backed with... Something else. Very comfortable, super versatile and most importantly, I mean, just look at how cool this jacket is. To me. Of course.

I'd love to have that one, if you ever lose your mind and decide to sell it.

@Marc mndt how many jackets do you currently have? The collection is amazing.
Thanks. I currently own just over forty leather jackets. Most of them were bought this year (in January I 'only' owned five). Last winter's lock down and curfew really jump-started this hobby for me. I began buying pretty much every jacket that I could find that was interesting in one way or the other. All vintage / second hand, all mint or near mint condition. I keep the ones that fit and pass on the other ones, preferably to fellow leather jacket enthousiasts.

any idea where this might lead to, i.e. what is the estimated saturation value - or is it too soon for a qualified guess?

Funny thing is, I mostly wear just one particular jacket which is my Field Leathers halfbelt. I wear it almost every day because I like the way it ages and by wearing it more it ages faster. So for wearing purposes I really don't need any more jackets :)

But my collection doesn't feature a vintage D pocket yet so that one is still on the whish list. Plus I have a couple more FL's on order plus I'm planning on visiting Thessaloniki (Thedi Leathers) later this year so I guess I'm not done just yet :)

Storage becomes the main problem quite fast...
I finally did an Excel sheet with all my jackets and i am at 56, with at least 5 planned but still not received and two currently in the mail.
I am honestly not sure where to put these, as there are only so many clothes rails you can have in a house...
50 jackets already takes a lot of room if you keep them on rails, and i can't imagine many people reach 100 jackets without having jackets "EVERYWHERE"
Sometimes i wish i was collecting something smaller/lighter!

For me the point has come some time ago to concentrate on selling rather than buying.

I'd say, new jackets come in quite "naturally". You see something, you want it, after some time to go for it.
Selling takes a lot more effort, and not just the "operational" part of measuring it, making photos, posting the offer etc. It's getting around the thought of letting go something you dearly love. Not easy, but I am set on selling, selling, selling, until I am left with the jackets I do actually wear.

I guess that's just the evolution of a hobby...
