My Schott 674, steerhide, complete non removable quilted lining, made in USA. It is still available in Europe, although it is not in the US catalog anymore. Bought new in 2018.

It can be found in Paris in a few western/americana shops, for about 700 €, which is really the floor price for a made in usa jacket of this quality in France. Very sturdy steerhide, super warm, super straight no bells and whistles A2 inspired piece. It's my favourite leather jacket because it is simple, almost discreet, unpretentious, super polyvalent (much more than a biker jacket), very robust... You can wear it in reasonable rainy day with no fear to damage it... It looks and feels like quality, timeless classic... You can wear it everywhere, it will never look "too much"...

True. That should be it. I bought my first Aero there umpteen years ago.

Great Place, although I usually lose myself in all that chaos. I love the whole "Gärtnerplatz/Glockenbachviertel" area. I usually stay at the "Deutsche Eiche" (with my wife, which always creates some unrest with the crew - you know...).

Yes, well-known area, well-known hotel. In the past, work colleagues came to Munich for a project and unknowingly reserved the hotel.
Of course, it wasn't a problem at all, but it still caused a smile or two.
I have lived in Lehel and Maxvorstadt. All not far from the Glockenbachviertel, where we went out a lot.

^40’s Knopf to ship the 2005ish LW Suburban below to its rightful owner (I proxied for them). This is the nicest LW I’ve ever handled in roughly 5 attempts. Stu should really bring back the cowhide. It’s outstanding and absolutely destroys the chocolate milk russet HH. I imagine it’s new owner will be extremely pleased! My only fee for proxy shipping is I get to try it on:)
