Wore the sale page (thin Vicenza) Highwayman all week this week. Creases like stiff denim. The front is still smooth, not a lot of grains. The back has more grains, probably from sitting in the car and the tight waist cinch.

I've been taking jackets picture/videos all day. This Bill Kelso Duke was hanging there. Took it down and wore it around.

This Duke is made in the infamous Victory Horsehide of a few years back. I bought this jacket here. I wore it to work, just wore it until I retired.

It is Beautiful leather and still smells wonderful. I have never had a leather like this. The Duke in any leather is a nice jacket.

I'm pretty annoying coming here after work and my workout to find my thread closed TBH. The mod said let it be over because everyone had their say, but I did not have my say in the conversation that was taking place. Despite the heated words, it was an extremely interesting discussion and I had a lot to say on the subject. In part, I started the thread to show differences in fit, sizing, and pattern in order to be helpful. To have the whole thing closed is demoralizing.

Oh well, I'll bring it up in a thread in a few weeks...

Because it's suddenly riding weather I've been wearing my selvedge Sherpa jacket by Resurgence. It's AAA rated and has full armour but you wouldn't know to look at it.

It's also very comfortable on the bike and perfect for Spring temperatures over just a t shirt.

Big fan of the 689. Did you beef up the lining as well or just the collar?

The cut is generous enough for me to layer so the standard quilted lining is good enough for most conditions.

The Ike fits you extremely well. It is a short jacket and does not look on everyone, but it is perfect on you. The jacket is built like a tank. I had the HH Vanson Ike but had to sell it because it was too small. These are rare birds indeed, indestructible.
