This is awesome! Any tips on where to find this? I always wanted to get a Carhartt Detroit, but stayed away for same reasons as you after trying at local tractor and supply store.

It's by The Stronghold, sold through a collaboration with a UK store called Primark. This jacket is from last season, and isn't even on their website any longer.

Rest of the week looks promising weather wise for leather. I’ll be watching the Bears score 30 plus and give up at least as many in the Regius today. So cool to have handled the original and get a repro that matches its feel and spirit so vividly, but perfectly tailored to my needs.

Yesterday. First day of winter.

German army coat more than capable of keeping out snow, sleet, icy rain and all that is to be expected late November around here.
In terms of functionality it seems obvious that this was designed for rainy evenings in the barracks rather than seeing action. Poor range of mobility even oversized and worse zipper than Aeros no. 5 Hookless… ;)
