Mhhh. When it does not fit how a leather jacket should, than its...

What do you say?
I say it looks too big somehow. But I can't say what the reason is. Maybe because it's too tight under the chest? Or maybe the too-long sleeves push everything up. Stiff leather doesn't make it any better in this case.
I think a photo with a T-shirt instead of a thick jumper, normal trousers and also a back view would be better for an assessment.
If I were you, I would look for a better fitting jacket. But taste is different.

New photos.

What do you think, how much can I get for this jacket? It is nearly new, but it has one small cut in the forearm, which I discussed here: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/thr...ket-small-cut-in-forearm.110026/#post-2980033

I fixed it with leather glue.

I cannot return it, because I bought it on ebay...

Or maybe I will find someone who want to trade with me
I still think that the jacket is a tad too big. Too long in the back, so the material compresses in the back. I can imagine that the side adjusters are a bit too deep. There is still a lot of material on the shoulders. But I can also imagine that the jacket is well wearable when it is broken in. In any case, I would close the zippers on the sleeves.

Vanson sleeves are longer since their jackets are designed for motorcycle riding. Zip up the sleeves and lean forward with your arms outstretched like you're riding a bike. If the sleeves go to your wrist, then they are sized correctly.
The Enfield is supposed to fit a bit larger, but like everybody here has said, if you're not comfortable with the fit, sell it before you take it to the a tailor.

Looks like the elastic holding the gussets together may be kaputt; one is bulging out.
What do you mean? Where is a elastic holding? How can I check?
If there is a defect, I will give the jacket back via paypal.

This is tricky, because the only way to check the eleastic strip holding the gussets together is to open up the lining.

Ok, but there is something wrong then with the jacket, when it looks like this, right? It cannot look like that, in a natural, correct way. So this is a defect and a reason to give the jacket back.

In my opinion, the gussets should not look splayed open like that. They should be nice and tight. This looks like the elastic band is not even there.

Is the whole fitting of the jacket really that bad?

Its not dramatically off, that’s for sure. If YOU like the fit (apart from the sleeves, of course), all is good.

It´s a „real life“ fit, IMO. It may not look “model-fitted“, but it’s versatile enough to do some layering which you simply needed in our climate, as well as the option to zip it up without issues for the occasional rain shower.

I felt the elastic band, it is there and strong on both sides. Its crazy. maybe the jacket is only too big? (The leather on the side where it comes out so much, there the leather is not stiff, its like there is it already broken in. I dont know why. But from the inside, both sides feel the same, also the elastic band

I think that maybe the Vanson Enfield is not for you. At 173 cm and 72 kg you have an average body build (meaning not to skinny and not too heavy, not too tall and not too short). Lots of off-the-rack jackets should fit you well. If you get the smaller Enfield the gussets may flare out even more.

It's not the elastic band ...it's a manufacture defect. There was another jacket with the same problem in the front floating around here not long ago....
