That jacket is balls to the wall badass! I LOVE IT!!!!!
I actually picked this up towards the beginning of winter, so the weather hasn't been conducive to wear it out and about. But it's been a weird winter here. There have been several days where it was warm enough but was raining pretty steadily. This was the first nice day so I jumped at the opportunity. Tomorrow we get hammered with cold rain and a slushy snow mix so I'lll probably be in a peacoat.
Next time I'll need to pair it with my paisley pants and throw a feather back into my hat.

I lucked into this one after searching for a few years. I'm merely the beneficiary from the previous owner wanting to "pay it forward." The jacket is simply lined in black but doesn't have any tags nor ID marks. Stylistically reminds of Gandalf, Oshwahkon, East West, etc, but that's about the extent of what I could say.

Wow - another super fine Type III jacket - really like the extra grainy leather w/great fit. Is this deerhide? After seeing this jacket, I just ordered another Type III from Aero in the Natural Vicenza w/cream stitching and copper buttons. I hope it is at least as nice as the Navy Type III I got in Sept 2022. Thanks for posting/sharing another great jacket from your extensive collection.
Chilling at the airport in my 80's Dickies denim jacket on the way to Florida. Normally I would be looking forward to warm my bones this time of year, but it has been so warm in the NY area that it would not be a fair thing to say. Anyway, denim jackets are so suitable for travel.

This one was from Johnson Leathers and in their super heavyweight goatskin.
But yeah Aero has really nice truckers. The copper buttons is nice touch. I wish Aero woud bring back the Lee Riders.

Saw in my IG feed last night that Johnson Tam, founder of Johnson Leather's, passed away. Figured I'd wear my JL as well and commemorate the loss of an icon of the industry and SF history.
