What's the recommended brannock for these?

I never measured my own feet with a Brannock device, but I size up 0.5-1 size from my regular US size. I wear Alden Barrie 8.5B/D, Redwing 9. The Clinch lasts are quite slim and has a low instep, but plenty og toe room on these.

How long did it take for the toe box to start flattening on these?

It was quite quick. I would say within a week (a few wears). The soft toe is softer than most, if not all, my other boots.

This leather comes from Wagu Beef and then put through a process of lacquer like the old armor the samurai used. I found this interesting. I'll post the strap somewhere when it comes.
