That's the nicest Type 1 in leather that I've seen so far. Who made it?Getting more attached to this jacket the more it breaks in. Stiff horsehide, it’s like body armor in cold weather.

Cool combo pic, Will. Why limit myself to just one? I wore four cross-zips today!!!. Thought I'd amuse myself (and TFL) with a snowy comparison. It's fun to compare the cuts and fit of these 50's jackets. We won't haggle about an inch here and there fit-wise; I love them all. I welcome comments on the cuts! John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Looks too big. I’ll take it.30s Block Bilt goatskin halfbelt. I can't believe these were actually made in bigger sizes.

Looks like a tank, and love the toss-it-on-the-ground-in-the-elements approach haha. CXL?
Sadly, no idea who made it other than it being from a small shop in China (no branding, only care tags inside). I bought it like-new for around $100 from someone that didn't want to break it in — absolutely one of my best impulse buys. It does remind me of CXL, but I imagine it's stiffer (then again, I've never handled horse CXL, only cow). That's the nicest Type 1 in leather that I've seen so far. Who made it?
Very nice jacket. I like the hide and the rivet reinforcement. Looks like it can take a small caliber arms fire. The pullup/overall look does remind me of CXL for sure. I'm not a leather expert, but it does seem like some high quality stuff from everything I've handled.
That's one hell of a temp drop!Twinning with my man in Amsterdam @Marc mndt
These suede Schott type 3 are as good as the style gets. Probably the last leather day for a bit as real winter arrives this weekend.
