Had to wear it today, just received from a FL member. Older rare Chestnut / Tobacco Vanson Model F. I'm in love. Competition weight, has the label from 1978-1982, the one after the white label. Great soft thick leather.

Sure. They're by Poshly, style "Jim Morrison" although since they make boots for From the First, you could just as well look into their "Diego" style.

Both are much pricier now than they were but this pair that I got is crazy tough and actually very wearable. My 2nd most worn pair and I'm still breaking them in.

EDIT: Oh, but I had mine altered so that the sole is 3x thicker.

They are neck to neck with Saint Laurent. Thanks!

Great looking wool! Nice and short in the front. Great design! Who makes that?

It has no label. It is not like other short wool jackets I own. This one has the look and feel of a hunting jacket, more from that type of maker. Not like the catalog fashion jackets. It is coarse wool and in a plaid I associate more with "hunting" wear. It is a tradition half-belt., short and fitted at the belt. It has no "gathered" sides, but it appears they had a tuck on each side. These jackets have a very stylish cut, much different than a hunting jacket. The length is great for the car and nice to wear inside instead of leather.

Just got this new "Bryggarfrack/brewers tailcoat" delivered, it's made here in Sweden in the 50's and is made of goat.

Super cool model that I've been eyeing for a while, very short arms that seems to be the standard on these jackets, at least when looking at smilar examples of this model made in the same-ish time. But they were made for working in so makes sense(and a good jacket to show of your watch lol).

Super stoked to finally have one in my collection, may change the buttons for something more contrasting(after seeing Marcs example)
:)

ps. I love the combo of tan + black :D

Cheers
