I absolutely love the Panther, I've contempted buying a goldtop patrol,,that's the closest I can get to old school belstaff quality. Do I need one, absolutely not,but still want one :)

The Goldtop one is among the best of that style available as a production jacket these days, imo. It's a bonus it has the built in armour and CE certification too, if you're looking at it as a riding jacket.

Working on some more appropriate photos. Can’t do tough vintage guy anymore. Morally flexible 70’s guy Might work though.

Great jacket. I know a lot of people associate this style with the 70s, but of course it was reviving something much earlier at that point. Sort of thing I always associate with that US mail order catalogue "1950s Confident Dad" look - dressed to spend a colder afternoon in the outdoors, puffing pipe an optional extra. It's a look I'm a big fan of, myself.

(Is it just me, or is the guy on the left of the 70s catalogue page Mark Wahlberg as a time traveller?)

Nice, I’ve got the same one. How do you like it?

Have a great time in Japan. I just came back from visiting Tokyo and Osaka. Lots of fun stuff - outerwear and everything else, really - over there. Your grizzly will do great.
I love it, nice and warm and a real conversation starter, even tho some people call it the carebear jacket, no style having mother hubbards hahahah.
how do you find yours.

Exactly - they are trying to make something out of nothing and to do so, it requires tremendous amounts of electricity to create/mine each coin which is expensive. Another pyramid scheme for the few to take from the many. If all those on the merry-go-round cashed in their chips at the same time the whole thing would collapse. The biggest clown of all, pending his inauguration, may have a detrimental impact on all of us regardless of ones country of origin.

Time will tell.

Should my comment/post offend or breach any forum rules, I certainly understand any action to purge or remove it. Please know that I truly enjoy this fine site and those who share their knowledge and information in support of other like minded outerwear folks.
So , let's stick with FIAT currencies and Modern Monetary Theory. Let your government spend, spend, spend. Followed by printing more (enter currency your of choice here). Fiat currency has no intrinsic value. It's Value is based on a CONfidence game being played out by Governments. Ultimately, those playing along with the game will be victims. Debasing currency (printing more unsecured money) is unethical and has always been seen as theft. We can either go back to the gold standard or continue on the fiat based train wreck. Or agree upon a Global, decentralized, system of transaction (like the block chain) with a finite number of tokens and let the chip fall where they may.
