This is really nice. Is it their persimmon tanned horsehide? I’ve only seen that around on their single rider, but I think it actually looks even better here.

Thank you, It is actually their natural saddle horse. It'll get much darker I just don't wear nearly enough.

Thanks! It’s my latest “Ton Up” jacket. I used a hide called HH Black Cherry by SB Foot(Red Wing) that I had split down to 3.5oz. Only has a few days of wear, but is starting to develop a bit. Color is somewhere between black, espresso, and burgundy.

As a Swede I'll never understand something like Bucc-ee's I think haha, amazing looking jackets I do understand and yours are that for sure!

Been wearing this Bates every chance I get. Really nice grainy hide (I believe this was known as dominion cowhide) and a very interesting brown that almost turns grey in direct sunlight. This jacket really really rekindled my love for the brand. Bates jackets are always exceptionally well built, functional and stylish.
