What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I hope it was great! This is the Lewis Leather jacket I would most like to try some day. As of yet, I have still never even tried on a Lewis Leather, so someday I would like to see what they are really like. Enjoy it!
Thank you! I wore it on my daily walk, about 45 minutes in a steady rain. I used to baby it (and in fact, hadn't worn it in years due to a combination of my incorrect perception that it was too edgy to wear to work and that this particular jacket's sleeve (zipper cuff area) gets caught on my watches. My LL Bronx jacket (with the same zipper cuff) doesn't have this issue catching my watches. After reading so many posts on this forum about breaking in jackets in the rain, I thought I'd give it a try. The jacket has a new depth, I love it even more now! :)

This jacket is size 44 off the rack and I think it fits me really well. I highly recommend LL to anyone who likes their styles. Their history is undeniable and the quality of build is fantastic. Mine is a little over 20 years old and is made from their smooth cow hide (which I love) and has a really nice hand. I always feel like a million bucks when I wear it. Their new vegecow looks incredible and is tempting me... Lol!

Today I’m rocking my Johnston sunshine bison grey is beautiful but super excited to pair it with new Truman shrunken bison moc toe with after market grey raw hide laces View attachment 681897 View attachment 681898

Both jacket and boots are bonkers!

The fur neck-liner paired with a knitted sweater really makes this Thedi a pleasure to wear(really love how pliable the leather stays), even in rather cold temperatures :D

@X83 Crazy leather on those badboys, wow!

Cheers and have a great weekend ya'll!

Every time I see you in that Thedi I feel a pang of regret selling mine. You should stop posting it!

You sold it for a reason and that's all that matters. On some days, that reason is clouded but it is still there.

I know. jackets come and go. Moving on to other stuff. It’s an ongoing exploration and collection of experiences. Some jackets stay longer than others, but they are all just passing through. Often when I look at pictures of stuff I used to own I don’t feel any regret. Other times I wonder why I passed it on. I do remember what my motives were but in the rear view mirror the motives seem weak. Surely, I can’t be the only one?

You are far from alone mate, I have some jackets I really wish I kept now when they're gone and some time passed, even though at the time it felt like the right thing was to pass it along(be it the fit, color or that I had something else on my mind I needed the dough for that made me sell), but I think that's very normal in a hobby like this! :)

Love that leather btw, is it the Cocoa Buffalo?(I think I remember you telling me before, but my memory is crazy bad haha)

Well... Now I don't understand why you moved it lol! Goes so well here with the rest of the ensemble. What do you have as an alternative?

I think it’s the cocoa buffalo, so your memory worked this time :)
True, it is part of the search and the journey.

I think that outfit is probably one of my top three outfits of all time. Sadly I don’t have anything similar right now. No aviators… not even one.

Awesome thanks! I'm glad I went with that for my MTC-1279720 after seeing how gorgeous it looked in your picture :D

Theodoros knows how to get a vintage look out of a jacket
