Interesting long oval markings on this RD OR. $12.50 original price tag. Needs some shaping but otherwise in great condition.

The poor Fed Ex Guy just left here ..Hes had a Loooong day... been on the road since 5am, and has 5 more deliveries before he can drive 45 minutes back to the center and go home . Fortunately the delivery drivers around this part of the woods DO make a good effort!

He dropped off a nice little Goodwill Akubra Boomerang. Hat is in really nice shape... AND IT FITS! Its totally coffee shop ready for the morning! I may do just a tad bit of brim reshaping in the next day or so, but its ready to wear as-is. I really like nice clean $12.99 hats!

Got this Lee Blue Label Trinity WaterBloc from an auction for $1 over its original 1940's price tag. Not too bad, I'd say. Seems to be about a 2 1/2" brim and a 4 1/2" crown. It is a size 7 and even though it is not my size, its condition was too good to pass up. I'll put it up on the Bay where, hopefully, someone who'll appreciate and wear it can get some enjoyment from it. Would have loved for it to be me.

So has anyone here done an action through Goodwill and been sent the wrong item?? The stetson campaign hat copy is what I won, and the 2nd photo is the hats they sent me. So I'm guessing I'm never going to see 1950's stetson remake of the M1902 campaign hat. I did fill out a customer service order, but I don't see them ever getting the Stetson hat (hats because there was also a really ****py hat along with it that would have gone straight to the bin when I got it) to me.... sigh

So on a high point (knock on wood), it appears that they didn’t send it to someone else… they didn’t do anything with it and I was told that they found it and shipped it out today. Funny that I was so bummed, but that’s probably the war history buff in me. I guess I’ll find out if I actually receive it in another week, hopefully the heat wave in the eastern half of the states doesn’t pose any issues.

Well that is some good news.

Goodwill auctions can be a bit iffy. Lots dont do a good job of detailing the size so Ive passed on several (cheap isnt a buy if you cant wear it lol) Goodwill n Seattle is where Ive had several hats crammed flat into a small mylar envelope. Hope you can get some help from CS... that would be a cool casual hat

I can believe that about that about the Seattle Store... that place is crazy in person! I expect the hat (if I actually get the right one this time) to be a bit smooched because they send it in a 4" high box... so that's a bit better than sending it in an envelope.
