Ah, yes, a friendly, youngish low strength Armagnac and i‘m sure it’s pretty yummy and certainly/hopefully a few good steps away from the usual suspect‘s profiles.

Enjoy!

I know smoking is frowned upon now but a S T Dupont next to a art deco Omega tank watch is beautiful

With all respect, i think i‘ve never seen an Omega dial worse „reproduced“ than that in your watch.

I‘m sure you could hear Louis Brandt rotating in his grave, approaching Neuenburg/La Chaux-de-Fonds, wearing this watch.

If it weren’t so unhealthful I’d have never quit. I loved it.

Hear hear. Actually, I didn't quit for health reasons...not my health, anyway. While my late wife was in the hospital undergoing testing to determine what might be causing her memory issues (it was Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease), it suddenly occurred to me that she, who had been smoking several years longer than I, had already quit during her hospital stay, and that if I continued it would only make an already problematic future more difficult. So I scheduled an appointment, got some "Help You Stop Smoking" meds, and I quit as well. That was nearly three years ago, and so far I'm still a non-smoker. For anyone who might be wondering, the "Stop Smoking" meds helped me a lot.

I know that's tough. Congratulations on following through and making it stick.

I quit in September of 2006, having received some sobering news from the physicians. I had about half a pack left and some Bugler (or was it Top?) rolling tobacco atop the fridge. (I just couldn’t rest if I didn’t have an emergency backup tobacco supply). I finished the 10 or so factory-mades and then a couple days later I twisted up a roll-yer-own, took maybe two drags off it, put it out and threw it and the remaining tobacco in the trash. I haven’t taken so much as a drag since.

I avoid saying “never,” but I’m confident I’ll never again take up tobacco.

Similar here.

Having stopped Smoking 11 years ago now, I still have my last, half pack of Camels flying around somewhere.

Flicked my last cig out of the car on a Weser bridge and didn’t smoke again ever since.

Three or four days of beeping ears, vertigo… and that was it.
