I have a couple pair of blues that are threadbare & worn thru. I have two pair in black that will go a while yet. Been wondering about the sand/wheat color & if they are spandexed or not.

I have two pair of Levi’s & won’t be buying more of them either.
It looks like their canvas jeans are now made with 2% Spandex, medium stretch. Perhaps they have a non stretch version, I didn't see any in my searches for Cowboy Cut jeans.

I need to put together an order of blues & get those going as soon as I measure up. But I’m undecided if I’ll include a pair of the tan cowboy cut or not. They would be for a bit dressier occasions so depending on fit I might be able to live with 2%.

Thanks for all the look ups & research!

It might come in handy. I know I've probably swollen 6-7% during an enthusiastic HH.

Just to wrap this up what I was told yesterday was that the Cowboy Cut Original Fit 13MWZ’s are all 100% heavyweight cotton, felled seams, etc. Only the original Rigid Indigo Blue are not stonewashed. The purpose of stone washing is to soften up the heavyweight cotton & start the color fading of the blue or black some people are after. Rigid Indigo Blue will stand more washings before that process starts naturally. The Cowboy Cut Original Fit in colors have the 2% spandex added to soften the cotton & fit. So I ordered two pair in Rigid Indigo Blue & one pair in tan. Thanks for the info & diversion.

To put this thread back on track I’m again wearing my Optimo Traditional West in Silver Cloud on this Mother’s Day Morning.

Scored from a nice lady yesterday off FB Marketplace: a nearly mint (absent the original hatband) Stetson Big Country. I already have one in Acorn, but it's quite beaten up, and I use it in Cowboy Action Shooting; this one will be for everyday wear. It came with a horsehair stampede string someone had tried to use as a hatband, so that came off, and a convenient copper-colored ribbon went on. I had thoughts of using it as the canvas to clone one of the 20s/30s Stetson bigguns, but this one is soooo nice, I think I'm going to leave it as is.

Copper is a great complement to the black
