I could use some help in how to clean the removable Schott Pile Liner. I can’t find any info? Can I Soak the hole liner in a light detergent or cleaner?
Thanks

It's probably made of mostly polyester. I would simply machine wash it, ideally on the delicate or gentle setting.
Use non-bleach detergent, and perhaps it's best to hang it up to dry it instead of using your dryer.

I have the same liner, and I think your advice is spot on. Although I would hand wash it with Woolite just to be on the safe side.

@Peacoat yes likely good advice.

I have not had many of these vest liners, however I did have a set of "spotted cow" like seat covers from my sister's car that I tried to washing a machine...after ~ 5 years of them never having been washed. (yuk) By the time the cycle was over - they were in shreds.... o_O :(

Hi
That’s so funny. I was just going over with my wife to look where we could buy the Willite for delicate clothes and I told her I was going to put it in a tub and hand wash it not in the washing machine and then let it air dry.

I just cleaned the quilted liner on a Schott aviator with a Shark Stain Striker upholstery cleaner.
It has a small attachment with a rubber agitator and the result was encouraging.
I purchased an auto upholstery detergent that wasn't too foamy.
I've ruined liners before, didn't want that to happen again.
