Cool jacket! But you need to take measurements for anybody to bite...

Especially with Aero. They can make great stuff, but their tag sizes are infamously only the vaguest of indicators as to a particular jacket's actual size.

Yep. I’ve had a number of Aero Leather jackets of different styles, ages and hides with size tags which ranged from 40 through to 46. The measurements between them was largely the same and even allowing for the difference in intended fit each one fitted me fine.
I currently have a Highwayman tag size 40, and a Teamster tag size 44.
As well as providing measurements I think it’s equally as important to show how these were taken, preferably with photos One only has to look at sites such as eBay to see the variety of ways people measure their jackets. For example: sleeve measurements can be done from shoulder seam straight down to cuff (which is the way Aero Leather say to do it), whereas others will take it from shoulder seam down the outside of the sleeve to cuff.

You could also post a picture of the paper label with Aero’s machinist handwrittten measurements on it. Those measurements are usually fairly accurate and reliable.

I have bought 3 made to order jackets from Aero and this is the same card I received with mine -style,
Size, and machinist name. I wondered if the detailed measurement card is only for their “stock” jackets?

I've only ever bought in-stock jackets from Aero, and my tags have all been like the picture above.

That said, in my experience Aero's listed measurements (at least those from a jacket's page on the site) are only just decent, not super accurate. When I sell one, I always measure it myself with pics.
