Not exactly bought in person, but bought some cool finds online that came indirectly from estate sales - didn't really pay huge finder's fee for them.

Lot of shoes (2 my size) looking like WW2 era or slightly after

As well as a pair of 1930s/1940s heavy cotton striped work pants

Found this hair-on cowhide wallet at the flea market. The lady had several to choose from, as well as some ladies wallets and some purses, all for super cheap.

Also found this little totem pole (it's about a foot tall) that was hand carved in Canada.

A couple months back I was able to find an original 1930s Thirteen Star Anchor Peacoat with stenciling inside the liner at a local thrift store. It sold awhile back. Definitely was my best true vintage thrift find of all time.

Just got an email from the Friday Harbor Historical Society and they stated that the Dealership started out as a Willy's Overland dealer in 1910 and changed cars for the T's/A's/V-8's and closed sometime in the 40/50's. SO I am happy I found it!

On my way down to the coast yesterday, I found this carved wooden tiki for $6 in a very interesting thrift store/plant store/laundromat.

A little work-day thrifting in Mt. Home, Arkansas.

After posting of the demise of the White Mountain company (after 150 years) in the Vintage Things That Have Disappeared In Your Lifetime thread, I feared that we would not find another one easily as these 4-quart models with the electric motor were selling for upwards of $400 on eBay. Found this one for $50. Appears to not have had much use.

I’ll use this lamp in the shop ($10).

My wife snagged this AllClad 9” sauté pan for $3.99 (retail price new is $179.00).

I thought our granddaughter would enjoy using this Whirly Pop popcorn popper. We have a commercial popper, but you have to make a contractor bag full every time you use it. $4.00.

Can’t pass up vintage Jesus art.

A vintage Ranger Boats chamois shirt. The company was established in 1968 in Flippin, Arkansas and bought out by my employer a few years ago. Melton Shirt Co (Batavia, NY, 1918 -1996).

And I always buy USA made bandannas.
