Russet GOATSKIN - To my knowledge, this is the ONLY BK Dubow in goatskin in the world (was a custom request).
Tobacco Brown cotton lining
100% Wool Dull Purple knits
Mid Brown thread
1942 Talon Bell Zipper

All details & materials are of the highest quality & are correct for this contract.
This is a one-of-a-kind premium goatskin version of this ubiquitous A-2 contract (the goat feels and appears identical to a recent Goodwear goatskin A-2).
Goatskin is soft, pliable & supple and very forgiving. Its has smoother & more grainy areas and appears exactly like WW2 goatskin (owned a couple of WWII M-422As in the past)

Measurements approximate...
Shoulders - 17.75" to 18"
Pit to pit front - 21.75" to 22"
Pit to pit back - 21.75" to 22"
Sleeves curve - 26.5" (Sleeves feel shorter than they measure. My other size 42 A-2s measure about the same, but sit longer).
Back length - 25"

Fit is relative & subjective.
I am 5'10, 40" chest and 73kgs, average build.
This jacket feels OK, a bit on the trim side and shorter in the body than what I'd prefer.
I would say it's more like a size 41 (or even a comfy 40).

Due to requests, some comparison photos between the russet goatskin and the seal Liberty horsehide.
They are close, but don't tell the whole story.
The russet goat is not quite as light and the liberty seal not as dark.

The goat is too trim on me. I could barely zip it up to be comfy.
So disappointed. This is such a fantastic goat Dubow and the goatskin is identical to the Deniers I received from Goodwear.

With the jacket open.
Im 1.81, 77kgs, 40" chest, broadish shoulders and average waist/ build.
Usually wear a 42 in originals and top end repros comfortably.
This jacket feels trim and short for me, especially in the back.
It pulls in the back when I lift my arms and the sleeves ride back.
I can just zip it up, but can't wear it comfortably, even with a t-shirt.
