I think it looks ugly. I’m generally not a fan of padded leather jacket. But the diagonal split is too in-your-face. At least the back design is interesting.

Pics below so we all don’t have to google.

It could be construed as a self administered Designer straight jacket for those who don't have the resources to be assisted into their time-out attire.

At least the hides appear to be exceptional.

NOTE: This forum discussion from Ralph Chen

Langlitz Death’s head cascade horsehide

Seems everyone went bananas over the same style by Langlitz back in January of 2024 about the Deaths Head then.
Ralph put up some gorgeous shots of Deaths head Jacket in the "Green Label" probably made in the 60's in a lighter weight horse . The green Label = Horsehide with Langlitz which they discontinued until recently. These jackets have been worn most likely quite a lot and aren't as stiff as the brand new Lost Worlds version. If I were younger and fit enough to pull this off and rode regularly this might be an excellent jacket especially after it was broken in.

Bear in mind it would not be a jacket for "going around town" with the wife and kids" this is a jacket for purposeful riding like a rally.

I can't fault Stuart for looking back at gear that was made in the past. He did the same thing with the Star Glove recently and the Buco's are now standard fare for LW. Personally I think it's pretty cool. Too cool for this old man though, I'll stick with my Star Glove for now. The wife and grand kids dig it.

Personally, I love the Death's Head Cascade, and this LW Rally, but I understand why the designs might be divisive. Definitely more in-your-face than a lot of other jacket designs and perhaps a bit harder to wear off the bike.

You think that's ugly? This: https://lunar-laboratories.com/products/2face-coat is so ugly that I dare not show the image. Anyone of a nervous disposition should move on.
How I feel about the linked jacket and the LW Rally / Langlitz Death’s Head is how I feel about modern art: they are intentionally ugly—so ugly that they look uniquely different. And uniquely different sometimes denotes taste. It’s polarizing that “some” people love it and most people hate it. It’s like the cybertruck, it’s a thorn in my eyes, but at least it stands out from the boring crowd. Then people get used to the look.

Looks like the Death’s head Cascade by Langlitz

Yes, it screamed Langlitz at me on sight. It's a strange choice for reproduction given Langlitz are still around and his is such a niche design, it would seem likely that anyone who wants one would go straight to the source. That said, I can't find a price on the Langlitz site: if they're (even) spendier than the Lost Worlds version, that might make a difference for some folks. Can you imagine the blog Stu would put up in someone did this with a design he considered his, though? Heh.

As to the design itself, well. It's kind of cool in a proto-road warrior, Mad Max bad guy sort of way. I can see it wearing well on a bike, but not really great for off the bike in any situation where you'd want to wear the jacket open I should think .

I agree with Edward--this is jacket that really MUST be worn on a bike! And it looks great in the pictures above, where this is being done.
