Real Simons Grizzly Jacket - King of Grizzly

I bought this jacket for about $450 in October last year, and I have to say this is a very good jacket. Wearing this jacket at 0 to -10 degrees Celsius has a good insulation effect. The leather part of the jacket is Chinese veg-tanned horsehide(teacore), the fur part is raccoon dog fur, the thread is Coats, the zipper is Ideal, and the lining is wool blend. The leather jackets fromy Real Simons do not have a chemical smell like other cheap and inferior leather jackets, it is a relatively excellent entry-level brand among the Chinese public. Most importantly, the price of this brand is really affordable. What do you guys think?

Good price if you like it, that’s all it matters. IMO the fur collar is too fuzzy and fluffy, like you may need a trim. It reminds me of the following animals. Some people think it’s cute, but not a look I’d be going for. Is the fur collar snap-on and detachable?

To me it looks like an excellent jacket especially considering the price. The fit looks good as well. How is the construction of the jacket (stitching)? If those are good, you've got a great jacket. Enjoy wearing it!

It looks great, but in the way of "I love it but I would never wear it". Also I can't help thinking my arms would feel cold in comparison to the body with all that fur.

The chick in the picture is quite cute. Unfortunately, the collar is fixed and cannot be detachable like many motorcycle jackets with fur collars. I did consider calling Petsmart Grooming at some point in the past to schedule a ”haircut“.

Thanks! The stitching of this jacket is strong and neat, even at the folds of multiple layers of leather, there is no disorder or jumping.

I agree with your point of view that sometimes people care about others' opinions and think that this piece of clothing is too conspicuous. The lining of the sleeves is filled thin cotton, so you won't have the feeling like you are just wearing a vest, but indeed the sleeves are not as warm as the body.

I don't really care about others' opinions on my fashion choices, but I just wouldn't be able to wear it as I don't think I can make it work with anything else I wear.

Basically, it's not that it bothers me that others will think it looks bad on me, it bothers me that I think that.

I don’t care about what others think of my style, but I have a closet (maybe 3) full of clothes that I don’t wear or have time to wear, even though I think the clothes look good. Life is short, and I can only wear one outfit a day. I can appreciate something that looks good without the need to own it. A lot of good-looking pieces would not work with my style. Without being completely honest and realistic with myself, I’d just keep accumulating and do spring cleanings often. I don’t like doing that.
