This time, the chastity robot beat me: I can't guess what all the stars stand for.

B0ndage trousers:

Those (and the black nails, eyeliner, lippy....) were a fairly reliable indicator that I wasn't quite the DelBoy, wannabe yuppie type. ;)

As memory serves, mine had a single, long hobble-strap at the knees and zips up the back of the legs, as well as the kilt-flaps. Sold them on years ago - I'd have kept them if I could still fit in them, but alas, no. Perhaps just as well, they're not a kind look once one's waistband is larger than one's inside leg measurement...

I was 18 in 1988, there were more punks than teds then :D

Yeah, in 92 I blended in with the grunge kids. The only Teds we saw in those days were the Bertie Basset Showaddywaddy nonsense, who always seemed far more of an insult to the Ted thing than any punk imo.

Showaddywaddy reminds me, it'll be lonely this Christmas is around again mm I was into classic rock in the 80s, denim and leather

The Wizzard one is a classic, though I think the public verdict in 73 (Wizzard #2, Slade #1) was spot on. What went wrong by 1987 when a truly awful Pet Shop Boys mangling of an Elvis class beat Fairytale of New York I'll never know...

Double Helix auto revolution in chocolate. They were super responsive and helpful in their communications via instagram. It gave me a measure of confidence in buying a jacket that would be a hassle to return. Quoted 60 day delivery.

If anybody is looking to try one out, check finds and deals.
I just linked a few midwestern sport togs and WB place car coats I found listed quite cheap on Ebay.
None are in my size so I won't be trying a car coat yet, but still hope to eventually.

Also, any double breasted coat or jacket really only looks good when it’s fastened up. Otherwise there’s too much material left hanging around the front and the whole thing will look unbalanced or lopsided.

It’s for these reasons that if I were in the market for a long leather coat I’d always choose an Aero Leather Cheyenne over their Barnstormer.

Also, in a heavy coat it’s an advantage to be able to wear it undone if things get too warm.
Another thing I should’ve previously said is that I prefer the Aero Leather Cheyenne over their Barnstormer because it doesn’t have to leave room for a belt it means the hand warmer pockets are positioned a little lower. These few inches of difference really make the pockets much more comfortably usable.

I have always assumed this from looking at images of the two jackets but good to have this confirmed.
Is the Barnstormer a trimmer fit than the Cheyenne?
