I can’t imagine a better fit. Does it wear as good as it looks?
Do you have any suggestions for getting the right fit?

I'm fortunate to live a reasonable drive from the Vanson showroom, so I got to try on pretty much everything I could find in my size. The Comet is known for being a very well thought out design and it wears really well. I'm probably sized up (42 v 40) for my measurements but I can get an extra layer under it for winter. The body has a nice taper to it which works well with my build. I think it fits tru to size for a somewhat athletic frame.

I don't understand scarves. They're so out of control I don't find them possible to wear.

Really? I love scarves. My favourites in winter are the thick merino scarves from Stetson.
But of course, preferences vary. And that's a good thing.

That's why I wear Buff neckwarmers.

I like those too. I have some from Buff, Odlo and Woolpower. Except for Odlo, they are all made of merino wool. But when in doubt, I prefer a scarf

I'm always amazed at how many of you walk around in normal leather jackets when it's cold, and without a scarf or thick jumper. At the latest, when I'm standing on the platform waiting for the train, I'd freeze to death lol.

I complied.
I will wear a (denim maybe) jacket on my coming Wednesday motorcycle ride. "Cool change" by then to 25C.
Perhaps a leather......

Brother it’s some super beautiful leather easy to wear and feels substantial I will do a close up when I get the chance so you can see the texture I recommend this jacket to anyone kinda sad the prices went up

Many thanks! I am envious. There are few better ways of finding the right fit than actually trying a jacket on.
I’ve been considering a Vanson Comet, but have been cautious because of its sizing being so different from other Vanson jackets. Also, I am thinking I may miss hand-warmer pockets.

The maker is Thedi Leather from Greece, and the model is called MTC-1279720.
I ordered the jacket directly from Thedi, but I asked for a shawl style collar instead of the standard shirt collar

I LOVE his use of double zips, makes me want to change all my jackets to have it

Not a great shot, but I wanted to snap something quick while the wife and kids were busy wrapping presents. And I'm also wearing a sweatshirt underneath which I definitely wouldn't do with this jacket. But baby it's cold outside.

Thanks my brother I always say I’m glad I jumped on the Vicenza olive when they had it in stock at aero I saw somone made an A2 out of it with dark blue knit and I’m upset I didn’t have one made lol
