Treadmill time for me allows opportunity to watch Turner Classic Movies. Yesterday(?) Meet Me In St. Louis (1944) was on. I’m making a motion to make “Grandpa,” played by Harry Davenport, an honorary member of the Lounge. In the 1st scene he was deciding what hat to wear for the day. Hard to make out, but his collection is hanging on the wall to his right. He settled on his Fez. A true hat guy.

I worked in downtown Ft Worth Tx several years at the old 1895 Tarrant County Courthouse. The photographer studio the famous Butch Cassidy/ Sundance Kid/ Wild Bunch photo ( the one the Pinkertons turned into the wanted poster) was taken in was 6 blocks from my office. Buildings been gone for years, theres a big historical marker right across the street from a Tobacco/ cigar store I used to frequent... walked right by the location many a time. Right in the heart of the old famous "Hells Half Acre"

As a side note my old office was once the hallway that condemned prisoners were walked through before they were lead across the street and hanged. You could still see the archway in the plaster behind my desk. I had the coolest workplace ever ( It was also the building where severak episodes of Chuck Norris's Walker Texas Ranger series were filmed). My office was under the steps there at the north end of the courthouse... Fun times
