    Jack Dempsey won the Heayweight Boxing title on July 4th, 1919 after deafeating big Jess Willard within 4 rounds of their title fight. My wife's Great-Grandmother was Jack Dempsey's Aunt and she was also "Devil" Anse Hatfield's sister...
