Heading out to play cards with the boys. Not sure if the shawl collar is growing on me with this Thedi Markos. It’s a nice jacket but needs a fur collar and the sleeves shortened a bit. Had some productive dialog with Carrie at Thurston about modifications but she just blew me off. Must be grumpy at me for feedback I provided on FL at some point or something else. This one will likely go on sale soon.

JonS1967,
If you don’t mind, which Vanson jacket is this? Is it custom?
It looks a bit like an Enfield, with sleeves like an Ike.
Thanks!
It’s a modified Ike. The Ike pattern fit me better than the Enfield so we used it for the base. I sourced the leather (Horween Pinnacle) and they made this beautiful jacket for me. Cheers!

Has anyone worn this Joemccoy jacket before? I'm looking for a leather blazer (suit) and I'd like to see how it looks on someone. I plan to wear it to the office.
That's a beautiful looking jacket. I'm also contemplating getting a leather blazer. I think @Monitor has posted pictures at some point wearing a leather blazer and he had no problem carrying it off.

They're still the only thing made of leather that I wear, sans boots and belts of course so yeah, once you figure them out, there's really not much to it.

Problem is that majority of them tend to look like straightforward leather jackets or very short leather coats, like the one you posted, @Hoanglong. It is cut much too loosely, without any structure, and the leather is too thick so don't expect it to work as a suit jacket. People will be asking you why don't you take off your jacket. I've been there, thinking I was so badass, all the while looking like a weirdo wearing a leather jacket indoors.

Suit tailoring must be a foundation of any half-decent leather blazer so obviously, Real McCoy's wouldn't know a first thing about it. Good options are few and expensive but to me, worth the time and effort.
