I’d like to share a jacket that I’m considering letting go from my collection.

This is a Y’2 Leather ECO HORSE single riders, size 42, in the Olive colorway.

Y’2 Leather is honest Japanese craftsmanship, excellent patterning, and leathers that are genuinely enjoyable to wear, not just to admire. The ECO HORSE horsehide is vegetable-tanned and aniline dyed, with a noticeably softer and more pliable hand than traditional stiff horsehide. It’s comfortable straight away — no painful break-in — but still develops character and depth with wear.

The Olive / Green color deserves a special mention. From what I’ve seen, this color tends to sell out quickly at retail and rarely shows up.

Very nice jacket! I love this leather and the measurements are perfect for me. I wish it had a chest pocket on both sides though, or none at all. The single chest pocket has kept me from ever buying this style. Just a preference for symmetry that I can't seem to get past (never mind my love of an asymmetrical cross-zip).

I hope someone buys and wears the hell out of this. GLWS.

Unfortunately, with jackets that lean toward a classic aesthetic, brands usually keep only a single chest pocket to preserve the original 1930s–40s design language.
