The only noticeable wear is the rear edge of the original heel caps. These are a rare gem with little wear no longer available.
I have not worn these boots for years. I keep the in an inclosed display case and condition and brushed the boots twice a year. I keep them just to admire. The Anteater vamp scales and upper leather shafts are supple and with out issues.
IMO No bootmaker cut and pieced together exotic vamps and heel counters as well as T O Stanley
