Full Veg--tanned, hand dye buffalo leather, cocoa color. Corazon buttons, two way zipper and button up front. Perfect condition. By far my most complimented jacket, it is beautiful and the build quality exceeds any jacket that I've ever owned. Model# MTC-127985, from Thurston Bros. I am open to trade offers, looking for a Thedi Memphis size L
$1400

Measurements:

Shoulder: 19
P2P: 23

Great jacket, I think it moves faster if you update your measurements. 19p2p 19 shoulders is.... Almost impossible. It's very unlikely. You will almost never see 1:1 between pit and shoulder. The body doesn't work that way.

Try measuring pit as below, and I'd recommend taking shoulder from seam to seam at the very peak with jacket zip side down.

Glws! I have a few Thedis- huge fan.

Hey there, thank you so much, I didn’t really know the correct way to measure, I’m going measure it again tonight when I get home because obviously I did it wrong. Appreciate your help

That's a Memphis it's my favorite style. It's from another sale on here- faster than digging up my own stuff. I've got a shawl collar buffalo and a horsehide Memphis right now.

The buffalo is the sweet spot imo. Soft yet rugged. My horsehide is more beautiful but also less easy wearing.

I wish you didn’t send that pic of your Memphis jacket, they are hard to find and Thurston Bros is selling for $2300. Would you mind giving me yours ? My birthday is in November

It's amazing how the cost of Thedi jackets has gone up $1,000+ in the last five or six years (since I bought my first through TB). I mean, nothing has been untouched by inflation, but this seems particularly severe. There's a green Niko on TB site that's currently reduced to $1,429.99, and I found myself thinking "what a deal!"

I was thinking the same thing, is it just Thedi ? I wonder if it cost less to buy from Thedi directly ?

This cafe racer, with added shoulder and elbow pad stitch details, in indigo dyed deerskin.
That is amazing, will that show shades of Indigo ? I haven’t owned a ton of diff brands, I have a couple Aeros, a Vanson and a Thedi. I sold a jacket by the Flathead because their sizing seems to be on the smaller side . Of those , the Thedi just seems like it’s worth the cost. It is so well made , I like Aero a lot but their zippers are kind of a nightmare. The Vanson is so heavy , I’m pretty sure if I got shot while wearing it, I’d be just fine.

Oh the jacket in the photo isn’t mine — that was a sample jacket in the Thedi shop that I tried on and used as a base for the custom order. Still waiting for the indigo one to arrive. It will be blue and presumably show great patina and “fades” with wear.

I’ve owned quite a few jackets from various makers and I agree there is something about Thedi. Beyond the quality, each piece feels like a work of art. He doesn’t just copy old designs, he makes something unique with every piece.

I like Aero, but I have had to replace the zipper on every one I’ve owned. For this reason alone, I will not buy more.

Vanson is fantastic. ******proof and perfectly cut for riding and general wearability, but not necessarily embodying the same artisan feeling I get from a Thedi.
