Aero Barnstormer belt buckle and sleeve cuff

Would you go with a leather covered or uncovered belt buckle on a barnstormer? And why?

And would you go with the regular barnstormer sleeve cuff or the shawl collared sleeve cuff? And why?

I would go with the classic Barnstormer styling. I've had mine for a decade, and things like the buckle and cuff details are a key part to the overall look.

I do think the bare brass buckle adds a nice visual element and the shawl collar cuffs seem to be pretty handy as you can tighten them.

I specified the shawl collar cuffs on my barnstormer as I like them better. Never tightened them though.

The leather covered buckle is very much the "correct" style if you're at all interested in the design staying true to the period; if not, the brass buckle can also look nice. I'd probably stick with the leather myself, though I wish a brass buckle like that was an option on a cotton trench coat, having had a leather buckle on a Burberry's belt somewhat ruined by a dry cleaner at a time. Well.. not really ruined beyond use but badly scuffed.

Hi. Just checked my correspondence with aero, it cost 30 pounds but this was 3 years ago. I asked to have the storm cuffs removed.
