Really cool, love the pattern!

As much as I love a good fedora, flat and newsboy caps seem to have pulled off the trick of looking both vintage and up to date, keeping classic hats alive!

Yeah, same size. I have found my Cordovas fit a bit loose so I attached some sizing tape under the sweatband. Now my hair’s longer I may need to take it out. Off the rack has such variance for some reason. Same company, Botvella, one cap is a bit loose the other is almost too tight, both 59s.

So with it being officially 5 months to the day until my 40th birthday I decided to splurge ahead of time and ordered a birthday cap from Mr. Keith Lo Bue of The Well Dressed Head. Chose “L’Aronde” model in a really jazzy woven black and white cotton with an equally Art Deco like black liner...

Another beauty! There’s something about a nice gingham check that just, well, “checks” all the boxes as it were.

The colors of that check pattern really work well together, very handsome cap!

Took my canvas Cordova on the first long walk of the year yesterday. It’s certainly my favorite cap though it’ll probably get hung up in favor of my linen version once Florida summer arrives.

Wore my brown Fed 4 into work this morning.
