I've been using them a bit and having decent luck. I make Rev War and Pirate hats, so I'm only doing a simple dome crown. I've been able to to take floppy capeline hoods form them up and stiffen them to an adequate bas for tricorns. I've also had some luck with reshaping some pre stiffened hat...
