I tend to agree, Mil Spec G-1 sizing runs large. They have action backs which provide for loose fit and movement. I wear 38, and my A-2's in 38 are way more snug than the G-1. I think a 36 would still do me on the G-1.

You need to have a hat stretcher also. If you have hats, one is required. You can skillfully resize up or shrink one down and keep it just right.
