Keep practicing fingerwaves, clabbergirl. My hair is naturally VERY frizzy and curly but setting lotion + fingerwaves = fine. Pincurls are a bit harder to get a smooth result but it's not an overwhelming obstacle, women had frizzy-ass hair in the forties too! Also there's always the option...
