For sale: fed IV standard, never worn, shaped once but it has been returned to its original unshaped state. Asking 80$ plus shipping. The hat is fine I just don't like the look of it on me. Oh, and the size is 58.

Here are a few. I think I'll eventually try to get more curl on the sides and go with a deeper pinch up front, but all in all I'm pretty happy with it.

Chuck- I decided it's a keeper. I bashed it last night, working with it for quite a while, so its now quite bash-full. I'll try to post some pics today if I can get around taking the photographs of it. I'm fairly pleased with my first....okay, several attempts to bash. I have to say that...

Once I started getting a collection going I would take a run of Byrne's F.F. or Stern/Romita Jr. Amazing Spider-Man on a Sunday night and hunker down for a few hours and sllllooooowly flip through the pages. Loved losing myself in those pages.

I definitely plan on keeping it. Besides, I love the Akubra logo in the inside. It looks old world and has that sense of quality.

I've taken pics with an open crown and a quickie bash, and tried to lighten them up enough to tell the hat from the shadow on the wall.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I figured this was as good a place as any. I just wanted to thank you all for the suggestion to try the federation IV (no, I never posted, just lurked, but still...) I read many posts and was really jazzed to try it, and the folks over there at hatsdirect...
