I dont know a lot, but to me that jacket looks amazing, great fit, great patina, great pattern. I only wish I could find a nice jacket like that. Great find.

I have a pair of the 1000mile addisons, they are great boots and you can have a rubber half sole added for about $20. They wont be as deep a tread as those red wings, for that you would have to have the cobbler actually resole the boot with the rubber sewn on as plumbline said. They can do it...

Sorry to have responded but not added an opinion. To me the Highwayman or one of the motorcycle jackets would look great in black. For whatever reason and as wrong as I may be about it, I always think of casual wear jackets in brown, and motorcycle jackets more traditionally black. Not saying...

The problem for me is that my wife loves to shoot guns and ride motorcycles(not at the same time), but she doesn't understand the desire for nice leather jackets. Although I can't totally fault her, she was nice enough to buy me my first Aero.

So, after wearing the jacket every night in the AC, on a few long drives, and on one 150 mile motorcycle trip the sleeves are definitely the perfect length, but I am still concerned about the body of the jacket. I can tighten the side straps all the way and still fit comfortably in the jacket...
