Art Fawcett Duaist - Powder Blue 7 1/4

I hope your surgery went well. It’s a gorgeous hat, but I’m a size 7, and I fear the extra 1/4 inch will be a bit wobbly.

Thank you, and I feel there’s no need to apologize. It’s impossible to be inclusive every moment of every day. We aren’t meant to be perfect. We can only try to be empathetic and sympathetic. That can be inferred.

I am probably in the wrong place, but I have a question. Where can I find a list of custom hatters members of the Lounge recommend? Thank you.

    Looking for quality hats-6 7/8 or 7

I have saved a ton on Ebay, but Lounge members know quality better than I do, and I trust you guys unequivocally.

    Looking for quality hats-6 7/8 or 7

Hi, I just looked at a vintage Marshall Fields hat I like. It has a fold in the back, but in the front it looks a bit like a homburg. A short crown, like on the gun club, or hunting hats, looks best on me. At Optima in Chicago, a salesperson mentioned long oval too, but that was just...

    Looking for quality hats-6 7/8 or 7

The hat in my photo is a variation of what I like. The brim is not folded. Thanks.

    Looking for quality hats-6 7/8 or 7

Sorry, I'm not well versed on the correct terminology. I can tell when I see it, but the particular style is not what's often favored on the Lounge. Because I am short in stature, the classic forties style doesn't always look good on me. My style is more akin to a homburg, but not necessarily...

    Looking for quality hats-6 7/8 or 7

I am in the market for quality winter hats, 6 7/8 or preferably 7, in black, gray, charcoal etc., with a 2" or wider brim, and a shorter crown. I prefer a hat without a fold, so not necessarily what may be termed "classic fedora." Thank you.

Thanks Brent, Rumpled and outdoorsy aren’t me at all, and I don’t conform to the local fashion choices. Both my wife and I like to dress up, and we can look unique strolling our Belltown hood in Seattle. Thus, my rain hats will be fur fedoras that can withstand rain. With the depth of...

Cruise ships arrive every day. I see them from my apartment. Some of them are huge. Thus, the market is nuts, and Sharon is busy. Good for her! Vancouver must be different. We hope to drive up for a weekend in a couple of weeks. The entrance requirements are fairly straightforward. I...

    Wormser Showerproof fedora

Thanks, but the Akrubra's look a bit weird on me. I am very short, and large hats often look goofy on me.

Sharon is great, but right now she's tied up with the tourist trade. That's a whole different hat spectrum. Last time we spoke, Sharon told me to come back in November.

    Wormser Showerproof fedora

Hi, and thank you for the comforting words. I am not internet savvy. I want some information on what fedoras would be best in the Seattle rain. I do not like wearing the ubiquitous baseball caps. I thought this thread, "Ask A Question....." would be best, but I see no where to post something...
