You could cut your own insole out of a nice thick piece of cow hide or two and add those. It should absorb the size like a purchased insole would but also keep the appearance of the sandals with no issues.

Ed Hardy was a tattoo artist, that started custom painting on things including shoes. Now it is all prints, he has his own shoe line and you can see his tattoo art just about everywhere you go, cigarette lighter, caps, shirts. This is an 80's pair Raichle hiking boots that my wife hand painted.

It is one of those skins that is kinda new to the boot making, kinda like Tilapia, and ostrich or chicken leg. but I am pretty sure that it is frog

yeah first pair is likely a lizard. Second pair (Lucchese right??) might be bull frog, I have never seen it in person but that is the first thing that comes to mind

You can measure a foot to determine a shoe size but you can not reliably measure a shoe to determine foot size. The measurements for shoes of the same size are all over...

Really? That is super odd. I almost never run across vintage shoes that are more then a half size off of their true marked size. And according to your sizing of them these are over a full size off. When I say nearly never I mean that less then 5% dont fit true to marked size and of that 5% less...
