$7.49 is absolutly nothing compared to some hair products. Even if you find it for a few bucks cheaper online your going to have to pay to have it shipped. I used to like royal crown pomade and had to have it shipped and the shipping was more than the actual product.

Yeah, but I usually need something extra on the sides, thats where the black and white comes in. I like the sides shiney and the top more dry.

I'm a big user of crew fiber and although not technically a pomade that stuff cannot be put into your hair when it's dry.

The American Crew stuff is water soluble there for mixing it with water I guess would have some sort of effect. But the other stuff, "real" pomade is not water soluble, argo it's pointless to mix it with water. Try pouring some water ontop of your open tin of murrays. Whenever I put...

Haha! I've got about 13 of the main pomade brands. Problem is I only used some once or twice.

I have in the past, but sometimes that can cause my thin hair to be really weak and break and look dried out and damaged. Plus that hardcore scrubbing to get the wax out doesn't seem to healthy.

Do you ever wash all the pomade out of our hair? I try to atleast once a week, but it's difficult if I have a LOT of pomade in. I found this through a google search and it looks hard to find in the U.S.A, but maybe some of our friends from across the pond can chime in if they have tried it, or...

Buy 5 or 6 combs and keep them in rotation. Clean the dirty ones with dawn dishwashing soap and hot water. To completely remove all the gunk use a rounded point tooth pick to dig all that stuff out. Make sure you get all that gunk completly off the comb or it will end up in your hair.

In Chicago the only place to get Royal Crown Hairdressing is Jewel-Osco. Walgreens doesn't carry it here. I've never seen Royal Crown Pomade in Illinois.
