Hello again! With hopes that it won't get sniped here at TFL, I was wondering if this seemed salvageable for $45 USD: https://www.ebay.com/itm/375430878598 The hat has a little wear to it, and the sweatband needs replaced. I would definitely get it refurbished if possible.

Thanks! I have heard DelMonico and the Scala hats are fairly flimsy in comparison to other hats, which is why I haven't gotten either one yet. Do you have any experience with DelMonico boaters? And no, I do not intend others to do the work for me, I am keeping my eye out on many sites...

Hi all! Does anyone know where to find a boater for a larger headed gentleman (7.5 US, 60 cm) ? I have had quite the hard time searching. Vintage would be good, but folks seemed to have much smaller heads in the day.
