That is a great looking hat. I have an Art Stratoliner clone and it is by far my favorite style of hat. You did a great job and I think the lining looks very nice. Wear it proudly!

I would like to see their favorite hat that they wear as well. I always like to see what the experts in any area, hats to cars and everything in between, choose to use.

I have a DC3 lapel pin with the standard lapel pin thingy on the back (forgot what it is called). Is there a good way to put that on a hat? Obviously the pin cannot stick through the hat. Would you just bend the pin down or is there a better way to do it? I have searched but haven't found the...

BobC, I am not a fan of wider ribbons, at least I wasn't. That hat looks great. I really like the color and you put a great diamond on it. Very nice.

May I join? Mine isn't a Stetson, it's a Fawcett. Art made my Stratoliner clone for me earlier this month. It is Natural color in light weight felt. It is as close to the perfect hat as I will ever get. I apologize for the less than spectacular potography and the hideous hat model.

ADHD, That is a great picture. 18 years ago my oldest daughter had a friend who wore nothing but jeans and a IJ Fedora. No shoes or shirt. They were both three at the time. You son looks very comfortable in that hat.
