Yup! I sent Janene a message after I won the suit and she said that Art has had it for years but never wore it.

It also isn't wool flannel or a gabardine, its a very tightly woven linen/silk blend fabric, similar to a worsted. The whole suit is like nothing I've ever seen before.

I'm guilty of that one... It's currently at the tailor.

Agreed, this section of the Lounge is only helping jack up the prices on auctions and is completely unnecessary. Most of the items posted on here are easy enough to find on eBay anyway since they are correctly listed too...pointless.

It was Early 1930s. Think 1931-32.

I live in Los Angeles and am also a student, and for that price you can probably find a vintage suit(depending on your size) for around that much maybe more maybe less. I'd save your money. If for future reference would like the names of stores to check out let me know.

I don't see why everyone is slamming this guy about pictures considering he isn't breaking up the lot and wont ship them. Its a local sale of 150+ hats, I wouldn't take pictures of all of it to put on a forum for people that won't buy them. As he said, if serious you can meet with him or he will...

I cannot understand why this is still here....I'd be all over it if I didn't just buy a 1928 Catalog. Whats the inner circumference?

Thanks! Suspenders, always. Nothing else keeps the pants at the right height with the vest, without sagging and breaking up the crease.
