I used to do it occasionally but find that I rarely do now that I am no longer a youngster. If I am out of town, I feel much more comfortable doing so because it is highly unlikely that I will see someone that I know.

I just watched this movie again and completely agree. Newman is middle-aged but pulls off the look without a hitch. Whether he is wearing one as an undershirt or sitting in bed just wearing the athletic undershirt and a fedora, he wears it well and makes it look great.

It is a combination of part of the name of the street that I live and part of the name of the city that I live in. My creative juices were not flowing at the time.

I never would have guessed that garbo's referred to trashmen. They seem to be called all sorts of names but I have always referred to them as athletic undershirts or A-shirts. Some people call them sleeveless T's but I never got that since there is no T shape.
