Hey Straykitten! I'm by no means an expert at vintage hair, I highly recommend LisaFreemontStreet's channel on youtube, she posts tons of helpful vintage hairstyle tutorials, which is how I really figured "the look" out. A set of rollers is a great bet, and your curling iron is actually good for...
I recently bought this leather purse off Etsy, not sure the year but the designs on it are similar to the hand tooled Mexican purses I was browsing on Ebay from the 40s and 50s.
MissLaurieMarie that traincase is amazing!
I have most technological stuff I "should" have as I'm a bit of a nerd but as a 21 year old college girl things I "should" have but I don't are
A Twitter account
Leggings
Uggs
Sweatpants
A fake tan
A DVD player (My laptop plays DVDs)
A Blue Ray
Revlons ravish me red. It's Affordable, creamy, and a great red for my skintone, which is pale and pinkish, and I assumed I wouldn't find a good red for me.
I am horrible at applying gel liner. No matter how much practice, it goes on all crooked and makes a mess. I love the look of it over pencil liner but alas I apply it very messy.

I tried sleeping in hot sticks that weren't hot since I left my bobby pins at my moms house, my hair came out a bit frizzy I need to invest in promenade. I apologize for crappy cell pictures, too lazy to pull out my camera :p
I don't find offering seats up or opening doors rude. I'm big on female independence and equality but that's one chivalrous thing I find timeless. I'm always surprised and happy when a man or anyone holds a door for me because so many people let it slam in your face.
I think it['s more rude to...
R.G. your Record player and radio are lovely!
My mom just moved into a house built 1936. It was made by Sears, apparently before 1940 they built houses too. I'm 20 so I'm at college, but I live there in Summer and during breaks. I'm lucky enough to have the attic room. The house is lovely, I...
