I mostly shave contours, so a straight blade ist the way to go for me. Using a 10 year old Böker, that is still sharp and doing a great job. After learning the skill, I never had any more problems with burning skin. Probably taking the time to be precise and having just the one blade helps...

You can pull off both but I prefer the 38. You did a good job of breaking it in as well - lots of character!

Hi Peter, it is a size 42 regular. 12 yo.. In the past I tried on a few different newer Eastman’s in 40. Those were always quite snug so I just gave this one a try. Length and waist feel ok, but upper body is indeed quite roomy. I’ll wear it a bit more to decide otherwise I put it up for sale...
