I watched Chinatown the other day. I've seen it before but only once, maybe twice, and never as an adult. Better and more intricate than I remember. Haunting. Good quotable moments throughout.

I watched Marlowe, with Liam Neeson in the titular role, a few days ago. I enjoyed it, it was well made but with a few tweaks it could have been great, more on that later. Neeson is great as Marlow (or is it Marlowe? ), and the production design is top notch. Good suits, good cars, good hats...
