I celebrate Yule...I light a candle in every room to celebrate the rebirth of the sun...:D And I decorate my wishing tree with snowflakes and put my wishes for the New Year on it.... "Have yourself a merry little Christmas, Make the Yule-tide gay, From now on, our troubles will be miles away."

So, this was from my birthday party last month. That's my husband and I'm holding my niece. The theme of the party was 1933 and I went to a hair dresser to have the fingerwave set. She did a great job and was very happy to do them.

I guess this dress is a rite of passage. Here is my attempt. :p I think it needs 2 more buttons but I was pleased with the overall dress. I used linen so it will be nice for summer.
