I think it really depends on your body type. If you are slim (but not too lanky) with long legs (comparatively to your torso proportion), I think an A2 will look. But then, with that body type, almost anything would look good. I keep seeing people with bulgy body (especially with a beer belly)...
Leather that squeaks will always squeaks, I don't have Badalassi jacket, but my Vanson Enfield with comp weight still squeaks as loud as new, after more than 5 years and completely broken in. It squeaks less when completely wet though.

I have a Thedi peacoat, in veg tanned Italian horsehide, and a removable shearling liner. The shearlig liner makes it a good three-season jacket, even in Canadian winter. The Italian horsehide is soft, needs no break in, and does not squeak. And a peacoat is good for dressing up and down.
