I have one! I got it a couple of years ago on evilbay. From the leather, label and YKK zip I'd say it was a very early jacket. Whether they did a run in the early days or it was a custom job I don't know

I have two hand made caps by two of our favourite cap makers for sale on ebay, one unused and one hardly used. I expect these will be of most interest to UK and European loungers given the cost of transatlantic postage, but check the listing...
I've also got quite a few guernseys and jerseys, commercial, ex-Naval and hand-knitted.......probably too many, but you need good pullys up here, and they all get plenty of wear!
interesting you say that, I've seen a few on the streets recently here in Yorkshire too....even one on the back of the barman in our local. I also auctioned a few on evilbay before Christmas and they did better than usual. Odd how fashions come and go.
The fit is excellent. It's just that with modern low-rise trousers that's what a properly cut A2 look like. Though I personally only ever wear mid-century high rise trousers, I think the short jacket/low rise look is fine on young slim guys....whereas if the jacket were any longer in the body...

.....I've had my eye on those Atlantic boots for a while. I even sold these gems to put towards them - original late 50s/early 60s LL fur lined shortie engineers. Unfortunately didn't get as much as I hoped for them :(
